    Hi everyone. Have just joined after getting annoyed with my lousy cheap router table fence and seeing a linear bearing in a scrapyard! That got me thinking - maybe I could make a nice sliding table for my router; then, maybe it could be powered, and move in two dimensions; but wait a minute: it could move up and down too, and be controlled by a computer, and live in a building of its own, with its own generator, under a dormant volcano, and I could use it to build a rocket, AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    Or maybe just buying a better fence would be easier.

    Its not you that will be taking over the world.... it'll be the CNC hobby that takes over your life... just start building a little one and before you know it you'll be planning versions 2 and 3 even before #1 is completed...:)
