Hello,

My name is Jessica and I work for an Aerospace, Defense and High Tech Industries recruitment agency called VTR.

You can view our website and latest vacancies here: http://vtrweb.cirrusnova.com/

I have previously posted before about these positions but since there has been little response I wanted to conduct some research to educate my current clients.

In regards to the positions below, would people be able to suggest what is the 'going rate' that they would be looking for:

CNC Setter/Operator (Milling) Night Shifts (7pm-7am)
Temporary to Permanent
Based near Stanstead Airport

Essential Skills:
Working with/on MAZAK, HERMLE or HURCO milling machines
Milling titanium, aluminum, or '106' grade steel
Preferably an Aerospace or related background

What would be a good hourly rate for 12 weeks probation period and then what would be a considerate permanent salary?

Offline CNC Programmer (Turning)
3 Month contract
Norwich

Essential Skills:
Experience of using CAD/CAM software
Experience of turning and multi-axis turning centres (3,4, and 5 axis)
Experience of programming FANUC or Siemans control centres
Ability to read and determine specifications from drawings and other related documents
Experience of working with exotic materials within Aerospace/ Oil and Gas

There is also a position for a CNC Setter/Operator (Turning), so advice on the going rates for either of the positions would be great.

Thank you in advance for any feedback, feel free to contact me via e-mail: [email protected] for any details.
