Can anyone suggest where can I get layout blue/dye from? I donít need a large quantity, as itís only for marking up six or seven plates for drilling and tapping.

Go to your local stationers and buy one of those big fat Eddings or Pentel pens.

Don't leak, don't get knocked over, always handy.

Buy a cheap Aldi vernier, grind the outside leg off and sharpen the moveable jaw and you have *precision* odd leg calipers.
