While you lot have your component picking brains in gear...

...I have to redesign a chronoscope calibration tool and get one off to my chums in China PDQ. I have some pins I need to pull down as close as possible to zero volts with some degree of alacrity. Last time I used a 7407 for it's open collector outputs, but I can't get them in surface mount. Can you think of a convenient substitute 6 or 8 to a pack? Latching would be an added bonus

    Define alacrity?

Lateral suggestion: Toshiba TD62M8500F is an 8 channel low saturation (typ 0.16v) O/C output sink driver good for 50Mhz operation in a HSOP16 case
