did you pay for it as an ebay item or order a specific length and machining?

  2. I did not order via eBay, I contacted him direct via e-mail.

Sorry for jumping in on this post, but saves me starting another one. Is this the standard end machining from linearmotionbearings , and if i wish to use pulleys do i just get "F" lengthened from 15mm to 25mm as suggested by Jonathan. Is there any thing else i should specify or ask to be done. Would i need to send him this so he knows what i mean, what do i ask for

  5. I have just placed another order with Chai (linearmotionbearings2008), this time for a 1605 ballscrew with custom machined ends & ballnut to upgrade my z-axis.

I just e-mail him the drawing of what I wanted, he quotes me a price, I accept the price, he then e-mails me a PayPal invoice, I pay it, job done, sit back and wait.

Yes, that's what I say to him. For example:
    Dear Chai,

Pleas could you give me a price for:

1 of RM1610-910mm with nut and end machined(standard end machining, F increased to 30mm for coupling)

    Thank you,
    Jonathan

Chai sent me that drawing, so he will know what you're talking about.
