i,m currently building my first cnc machine, and want to do it properly.

i was going to go for the kress spindle, but i,m more swayed to getting a water cooled one.

The question is, what is the best water cooled spindle.

Ive seen the 2.2kw one from china, which i like the sound off, but being very new to this, i,m looking for some guidance.

    Thanks in advance, alex.

Hard to answer without knowing what you want to use it for, but in general the 2.2kW ones are the best for a reasonable size machine. The main things are get a water cooled on since that enables running at a lower speed and make sure you get one with an ER20 collet since that holds up to 13mm tools - so ideal for the cheap 1/4" and 1/2" router cutters. Several people on the forum have bought them from solar.jean on eBay, but there are plenty of other sellers. Use best offer to get it for a few pennies less!
