May be something going at Howardson Engineering near Derby, last time I went he was looking for somebody as they were stacked out with work. Nearly all HAAS machines both milling and turning, all newish kit.

Give Them a call and ask for Pat - 01332 824777. He does quite a bit of our machining work.

Tell him that Steve told you to call him, he will know who I am....!!

sorry wify I don't understand what you say

may you please better explain yourself ?

  9. Hi Wilfy

From a recruitment point of view some clients would take you on as an Operator on around £7 - 8 per hour then train you to be able to set the machine which means your hourly rate would go to around £9 - 10.

You will need to work your way up from the bottom unfortunately but there are a few courses out there to train you how to programme which will also help your earning potential.

    Hope that helps!
