Hi All I am a Mechanical Design engineer, I design special purpose machines using solidworks for a medium sized engineering company in Plymouth.
I served my time as an apprentice fitter machinist.
I have been a keen woodworker in my spare time for many years and I have a passion for routers in particular.
I have my own workshop with a mill and a Harrison M250 lathe, and thought I would like to have a go at building a CNC router, so I am currently building one to my own design 1000mm x 650mm bed.

Good to see you are a passionate and me too looking for a new Milling machine, however I am not a machinist to design a new one.
anyway can you post the screenshots of your progress so someone can suggest you for modifications if necessary.
