    Anybody know where I can get a piece of expanded polystyrene foam 400mm x 200mm x 100->200mm ? In Nottingham would be ideal, otherwise cheaply by post.

    You can normally find this kind of thing around B&Q in the insulation section, if there is a broken sheet ask if you can have it for a discount :D

    Have you tried the local builders yards? Sure they must get full sheets that get broken & might sell you a bit.
