They're getting better at making CNC machines (even though the following line looks like gobbledegook, it's actually a clickable link to a chinese forum ...MyCNCBejing???)...

ˆ‘们š„›•ˆœ15KGž‹›(Z轴100mmŒ‹ ) (œ€ˆ交货‰ˆœ) (amoBBS ˜Ž”*论›) (takes a fair amount of time to load fully, cos there's a lot of pictures & their server is probably on a 9600bps modem)

It's hard to think of a way to make a CNC router what wouldn't do a good job of making that PCB. I guess if it was made from MDF...
Also notice how some of the holes aren't even in the center of the pads!

The grey machine is made from PVC...

Re the grey machine, yeah, PVC...I know, I know...but I guess it boils down to what you're cutting (the zentoolworks CNC is made from a similar material and folks seem happy with it)...not everyone wants to mill girders! (as an aside, I always think of the IRN Bru advert whenever I hear the word girder Irn Bru Advert: Shipyard Boy - YouTube "Made in Scotland from Gurrrrr-daaaas" !)

Re the smaller machine, I was just struck at how well put together it looked (especially the control box!)...compared to the usual Chinese fayre.

    Anyway...shouldn't you be milling a girder? ;-)

Mind you, I did have a smile at this Chinese CNC Advert, check out the the "Our factory" photos...

(normally when you reveal your "factory" in an advert, it's because its modern, big, clean, bright & efficient looking - that place looks like a messy lock up!)

For the sake of clarity - I'm not knocking the fact they work where they do & what it looks like (& yes, I'm sure it's how a lot of big businesses started this way - fair play to them ...but probably best not to show the world your "factory", until it's erhm more "factory-esque"!!! ). As it goes their end product is better than the average Chinese 3020 offering - at least they're using ballnuts & have fitted limit switches.
