    Hey all,

What are the connectors (as shown in the image) called - the ones that you push in then screw up tight. Without a name the mobs I've called have sorta said "the fellas with the white coats will be 'round shortly" then hung up

Anyone able to put a name to these connectors?

If you have a look at AudioSpares - Audio Spares, Parts, Cables, Studio Spares, Leads and search on multi-pin, they do 24 variations at around 85p each. Maplin also do them for £2.95

Do they have Maplins in Australia ?

Note to self: They probably do, they have taken most of our other criminals

They don't have a Maplins, but they have other toyshops. Actually, they do have an electronics components supplier, but I never used them due to high shipping costs to UK and now I have forgotten the name.

Actually I think my daughter mentioned Maplins but she's in Solihull so t'ain't no good to me. The biggest problem with Australia and bits n pieces are numerous. 1) No buggers usually got any, 2) Coulda bought 'em off eBay the same as the shop did, 3) sky high prices - I wanna buy 1 of (whatever), not buy shares in the bloody company.

Not a bad place to live, just getting waaaaaaaaaaaay to expensive now. I'd move back to Wales but refuse to leave my synth collection behind - lots *shudder*

Oh I got some btw (connections that is) - trusty ol' eBay :)
