    Hi all,

I recently purchased a KRV 2000 milling machine and need to get it transported into my garage. The machine is in Essex and the garage in Bristol

Anybody know of a transporter that will also be able to skate the machine into position in a garage 2 meters from the road? The pickup point has full lifting capability while I do not have said capability at the delivery point.

    Machine weighs 1200kg.

    Regards

    George

Shiply was the first place I looked. Only got one reply and they would not skate the machine into place for me due to HSE and insurance....

I had not come across the Landylift fellow. Will see if he can lift more than he advertises (1100kg)

Thanks guys. If you think of anybody else please let me know.

krv2000 IS ONLY A BRIDGY CLONE. stupid caps lock.

I have moved about 10 of these with just a transit sized van and a folding engine crane

Take the head off one and Jazz will lift it on his dick.

He must be a pretty big "man" ..hehe...

I have been considering getting a 2 ton engine crane for moving it into place. As it is the heaviest lift I would probably ever make I am slightly apprehensive in just going for it.

Thanks for the responses so far.
