got these from a scrap machine, as they look quite professional though maybe i could use them on my upcoming build, i considered if i could connect the break out board correctly it should work (should is the magic word), after all it only needs a few wires connecting to get it going, i did like the fact it only needs 240v kettle lead to work , no need for power supplies although i did get a switchmode supply and a 4 way indexer which im sure i dont need, cheers Nik

Looks like step and direction into 1 and 2 then 14 and 15 link together and go to ground on the BOB

No idea how you set amperage though ?

Looks like the dip switches at top John.?

Can you show pic of those switches Drnik.

  5. any part numbers or other identifying marks?

  6. The bottom 3 switches of the top bank are labelled 'motor curr'. Also 2 switches labelled 'resn' I'd guess are microstep setting?

More intriguing are the 'setup' trimmers for accel, etc.

    Hi Irving

These are used with DIP Switch 3 where you can have internal speed control.
