Eventually got around to setting up the workshop and installed the heiz today.
Started setting up the ports and pins and turning the motors etc
All was going well for 10 minutes until the heiz control box made a
popping sound, smelt of burning, and the fan stopped.
The fuse is good, and power is being supplied to the box. The power
indicator light on the front of the box lights up as it should, but
the fan does not spin.
So god knows what to do. Ive contacted heiz but i am still waiting for a reply.
A bit pissed off? Yeah especially with the crappy documentations etc that come with it. Especially when it cost well over 3 grand !
The control box on its own is around £500.....
That's a bummer, hope they stand by it and get you sorted quick.
If you get really stuck give me a shout I'm only at Nottingham.
What sort of setup are you running?
Ive got an email back from them, and they said to send it back to them ( in germany) and they will send me one straight back.
So hopefully that will be that sorted...
