It was manufactured in 2006 by Central Woodworking Machinery Ltd. It cost £45k plus VAT when new and is still in excellent condition, having only been very lightly used – it has probably done less work in the 7 years we have had it than most equivalent machines will do in an a year. We bought it mainly for 3D sign work (hence the 6 tool auto-changer) and so most of the time it has operated with 1mm to 5mm tools, even though it has an 8.9hp motor and can take much bigger tools when needed.
It has a working area of 3m x 2m, with a partitionable vacuum bed (2 x 8.8kw vacuum pumps), and has a footprint of about 4.5m x 2.5m. The gantry allows routing of material up to 150mm deep with most tools. It comes with its own dedicated computer console control unit.
It has been totally reliable whilst we have had it and we are only selling it because we are looking to downsize.
Ideally, we would like to get £25k plus VAT for the machine (though we are open to offers) and would be looking for the purchaser to organise uplift/shipping.
