I have for sale an old but hardly used bridgeport mill,
I'm not sure of working area but its a Textron type mill at least 20 years old.

    Tight on all axes,
    Power Feed on X
    Coolant works
    Low voltage light works
Has a power inverter for running on 240v (but could easily be run on 3 phase)
Comes with assortment of Tooling & Vices.

Very similar to this machine, except no DRO

Would be an Ideal cnc conversion project or handy manual mill!

    Looking for circa £2000

Message me for more details as it wont let me upload photos today :/

    Regards
    Andrew

Not wanting to piss on anyones chips but these machines do not make a good donor machine for CNC.

For a start you have to throw at least 2K at them for the conversion as regards ballscrews, motors drivers etc and then all you have left is a converted machine that is worth far less than the manual machine you started with.

If you want CNC at this level then buy a dead machine and upgrade it. For a start it will have ballscrews, motors, pressure oiling, chrome slides and chances are little work as these early BOSS machines had crap electronics and spent more time broken down than working.
A grand should get you a decent machine to start with.
