Does anyone know of a source for 0,5mm sheets of engraving brass (CZ120 or similiar) ?
I have found sources for down to 0,7mm in thickness, but no luck finding 0.5mm.

Maybe it's the wrong stuff ?

Unfortunately, that is CZ108 brass.

Have you tried searching for compo brass? The clock makers call it compo, don't know why.
