Thread: Parts Required

  1. #1
    Hello,

I am an industrial design student requiring several parts CNC machining out of Oak. I have attached drawings of the two parts, which I require two of each. I have also attached a separate drawing showing the overall dimensions of the parts. My CNC requirements are a top down profile cut all round and top surface milling of the detail out of blocks of Oak, as marked by the hashed area on the drawing. My intention is that I will then remove the rest of the material and finish the profiles manually. The parts have been modelled in CREO (Pro/ENGINEER) CAD system but can be exported as most common file formats. I am based near Preston and I have a source for the Oak. Is anyone able to assist me, and if so can you give me an indication of the costs involved.

    Many thanks,

    Paul.
