    Hi All,

Im completely new to building CNC machines but have a background in engineering/manufacturing as a design engineer, in plastics specifically.

At the moment I'm looking into the possibility of building a reasonable size CNC router (I have around 1x0.6m in my head at the moment) for working in wood and aluminium.

Im looking forward to seeing people's projects and contributing where possible.

    All the best,
    Chris

    Hi Chris
    Welcome to the forum
First step have a look @ the build logs oodles of reading to do first. Then download sketchup(free design software) and put down some ideas, the guys will then offer advise regarding any short fall in your design.
    Regards
    Mike
