    Hi
    Just finished make this speed increaser, its by Hemingway kits with a ER11 chuck instead of the
    6mm tool holder and grub screw as in the kits spec. the unit gives a 3X speed increase.
    so far its works very well.

    Hi Lee
    its a epicyclic gear box that gives a speed step-up of 3X spindle RPM, the low speed input shaft has a internal cut gear wheel then an intermediate gear that drives the sun wheel.
    The Kit came with all the gears and bearing.

    Hi Steven, thanks I didn't have time before to look at their website but I've just had a good look around, thanks for sharing I've bookmarked a few things for later usage.

    I may have a go at the roller bender, though will probably just order the Thomas books first.
