    Looking for some advise on lasers, will they engrave small characters of text on brass?

    thinking of 1 mm high.

    A desktop common laser cutter/engraver will not mark brass. You will need a specific metal marking/cutting laser.

    That is what I had heard my reason for asking, can you advise of a desktop model that would work small font, or is there one that could be attached and use to a small cnc?
