    Hi all,

I want to send my KRV 2000 bed, knee and saddle to be reground and turcited. I was told by the various grinder that I could palletise the parts and get them shipped.

Has anybody done this for a knee mill with a 50" table here? If so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have a standard 1x1.2m pallet ready to go.

I have successfully shipped (Within Uk) a 6ft x 6ft x 12" deep car lifter by attaching a pallet to it with the wrap they use in builders merchants that looks like cling film.
In your case I would borrow a strapping machine which you can strap the items securely to a pallet and then wrap with the film using the last wrap around to cover the address label etc.
You'll probably need to get it weighed as well as many pallet companies charge by weight.
I have used these people before http://www.pallet2ship.co.uk/
If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem !
