    Hello everyone,
I dont post much on here but i do read a lot of whats going on.
Im about to move forward from my months of prototype work to milling the parts from aluminium.
I was going to purchase some 6061 aluminium from metal4u

    12.7 x 152.4 x 1000 @ £42
    9.52 x 152.4 x 1000 @ £24.01

minimum order of £75 for delivery.

Does anyone know of anywhere reliable and cheap to get stock from before i order?

    Thanks Paul

Yes i looked at them but then read up on here and read some bad feedback about their service. wasnt sure if its a one off or anyone else has had issues.
the price seems good but i would rather pay a little more for peace of mind if need be.

I have not had any problems with them, having said that there is one guy on here that has had a bad experience with them. ..Clive

It depends where you are.A local supplier,in Yate,Nr Bristol has no minimum charge and charges £10 for lorry delivery (within a certain radius).Find a material supplier that delivers to engineering firms near you and they will surely deliver (even to residential addresses) for a small fee.
