Hi everyone
Please help
I have an Avon 2200 cnc milling machine, with the Anilam series gxm control.
I have a few questions which I hope you good people can answer for me
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to connect and programme from a PC/laptop?
If so what kind of budget and how simple is it to do for someone with not much knowledge of electrics/circuit boards etc
I would really like to use something like Mach 3 or similar
I need to do this on a budget and wonder if anyone has done this or similar or can point me in the right direction of someone who has
Any help whatsoever with these issues would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Bob

You will have to do most probably:
-keep the servos
-rip out all else
-fit new controller like CSMIO, most possibly the analogue version
-fit new servo drives, Granite devices, CSMIO or whatever.
cause if you dont have the post processor to drip feed, which means you can not send 3d jobs or longer than floppy disc jobs, you will need that processor, and maybe it costs same as what i said above, with the difference that the above is light years in the future compared to the original controls. When you last used floppy?
