    Hi All,

Another quick CNC project to tidy up the workshop - I'm sure there are far more impressive effeorts to see from others here, but it was a fun experiment in spiral ramping and engraving numbers:

BTW - if anyone wants the .crv or other CAD/CAM files PM me, although machines vary so feeds and speeds are at your own risk.

This is my contribution as a collet box but I do like the sizes engraved so I might just do it on mine.

Thanks Neil and Clive - those boxes look nice.

I've been thinking about some kind of organiser for the cutters drawer as well, but not sure on a design yet as I need a way of sorting sizes/types as well as sharp (for metal) and part worn for wood. It'll probably be a lattice thing, but could have some fun with pocketing a big block of wood/ply.

Worth noting that if you use MDF there is a Ronseal (I think) product which is made to treat rotten wood which is a watery organic lacquer that soaks into the material then dries and hardens. If you treat MDF with lots of this it makes it much harder wearing. Used it on my little box for ER16 collets. But let the side down by lettering in pencil, engraving would have been nice!
