    Hey usts, im just wondering how tight is tight for the pulley belts? is it a case of so there is no slop in the belt when attached or a small amount?

    They need to be taught slight movement 1/8 to 1/4" when pressed in centre of span with a finger on short belts, never drum tight, if likely to get very cold freezing in future say unheated shed then leave slightly looser if warm when installing allowing slight shrinkage.
