Hi All.
Long time lurker and i though it time to ask you guys what you think.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some tooling.

I am currently cutting thin carbon fibre sheet 0.3 mm - 0.5 mm thick on our router using 1mm pcd coated carbide diamond pattern tooling. We are currently purchasing these from cnc plus and have been really please with the results. Our 30000 rpm spindle cuts through perfectly at 600mm a minute. However i would like to find a supplier which is Uk based so we can get bits at short notice. We are currently paying 8 euros a bit, which is 1/10 of the cost compared to the ITC bits which we used to use.

The requirements that the bit needs to furfill, that it can not be larger than 1.2mm, only need to cut thin sheet carbon fibre max 0.5mm thick and all the work is cutouts.

The reason for the query is that is 2 fold really, can any one recommend an alternative supplier and/or recommend a different style bit?

I really do know if i am maxing out the feed on our current bits, but ideally increasing the feed would be great to improve productivity even if this requires me getting a new spindle to increase rpm.

If you have any ideas please chime in, thanks in advance.
