Well, I finally had my first serious attempt - never used CAD or CAM before so big learning curve. I know this is fairly simple stuff, but I'm pleased with my first effort. Loads more to learn

Going to have a bit of fun now experimenting with how I can get more contrast and a nice finish - this was done on a bit of oak faced ply wood I had - now to try a few more 2D experiments before going into 3D

Yup - there's always more to learn but it's great when the first successful piece comes off the machine - that's a long way up the learning curve already. Keep at it - and when you move to 3D, that's another whole ball game and hours of fun! Well done.
