    Do you have a 12-24v power supply plugged into the middle 2 screw terminals on the right hand side?.
    If not, that is your problem. Inputs are powered by this. Only the outputs use the 5v power.
    They are 2 separate circuits.

    Around a 2Amp supply should be plenty.

    Missing out this power supply is a common problem.
