    Howdy,

I use an early version 1 of Mach cnc. I mostly mill complex low relief forms in polystyrene using Aspire to write the gcode. I have started recently to use the profile cut mode in Aspire. It has highlighted an issue which I need to address.

In profile mode, infact all modes the program has a tendency to not cut into corners preferring the shortest distance. I therefor must need to instruct Mach and or Aspire to slow/ recognise certain angles.

My question is how do I do this? Do I need a different version of Mach 3, and which page allows me to make the alterations to stop it cutting corners.

    Thanks

Are you using bits that are a greater dia than corners you are cutting? ..Clive

    Hi Clive,

Thanks for reply. The bits are less dia than the corner radius.

i think the issue I have is related to Constant Velocity versus Absolute Stop on the Config page of Mach.

I think there is a setting for this in Mach on the settings page. Clive
