I am doing a conversion on a Novamill and require a couple of pins for the connector socket.
The plug has a name contart on it. there is a ref. on the docs for the pin "male insert B1 357 H
25039
25040
25041
Any clue as to where I could get them and do they need a tool to insert them.
RS do the bits, but I can't find the details right now.
Don't know why that has got Contart on it, but it's a Harting connector system.
I can tell you the release tool is RS part no 114-7728, as I had to buy one to swap a few things around on my Triac. I thought I had also ordered the terminals, but a search of my email isn't showing any relevant orders other than for the release tool.

That's very helpful, thanks.
Would you say it was this one https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/heavy-duty-power-connectors/1444239/
I have found this pin https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/heavy-duty-power-connector-accessories/0408319/ £3.74 pk 10 + vat
or this https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/heavy-duty-power-connector-accessories/1567267/ £34 pk 50 +vat bit steep I only need two
The relevant Harting catalogue for that connector should be attached, so probably best to double check measurements/contacts, as the Triac uses more terminals. I'm pretty sure they still use the same series of connector, just the Triac has two more rectangular modules in the housing.
I thought I had ordered contacts, but I can't find any or any evidence of ordering them. I suspect I may of just reused contacts, as they require a circular crimp tool which I definitely don't have. If you crimp them with normal crimping pliers they might not fit the housing, as they are quite a tight fit.

Thanks for the info.
I ordered these https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/heavy-duty-power-connector-accessories/0408319/ 4pm last night and they were here by 12 noon.
I soldered the cables into the pins and slid them in from the back. simples.:victorious: So now I have enough cables to change the feed & speed pots to alps encoders.
