Best regardsCan't open the video because of lack of internet. But I know that you can use a flame spray to remove all the bubbles. Also heat gun works. But don't heat up the epoxy too much. As this would result in an overreaction and epoxy starts to cook.

Heat gun was inefficient for me against a sort of surface foam.
I also have to deal with ungluing caused by thermal expansion of the frame...

I noticed that after spraying with acetone, the epoxy started to flow from the edges. Is it possible that the acetone is influencing the consistency/quality of the epoxy?

Yes that's in my eyes a problem why I would prefer the torch. The addition of Aceton rapidly decrease the strength.

You really need to watch the video. You're not really adding acetone to the epoxy. It's just getting the bubbles out.

I did. But I would still say you are mixing it a bit with Aceton. Sure most of it will evaporate. But I have some friends doing epoxy tables. But just art purpose. And they all use blow torches. Also that guy in the video uses light from above not from the side which is the proper way to see uncertainties. At least when building surfboards :-) with epoxy. I don't say it's really bad but if there's a proper way which is proposed by the producer I would go that way. I own a vacuum chamber so I don't have to deal with it any way :-).
