Just bought my first lathe and want to find out more about milling, dosnt seem anywhere now that runs courses or teaches so i'm here there and everywhere finding out as much as i can.

Do you mean milling on the lathe, or really mean turning? Either way, look at these machine shop tutorial (http://techtv.mit.edu/videos/142) videos. Will give you a lot of the basics

yeah suppose that was a bit confussing, Should of read i've just bought my first lathe that i'm relly enjoying. I'm also interested in finding out more about milling, as a seperate dicipline and marvel at people self built CNC machines.
