Hi!

I have problem with stringing, as seen on pictures. It is piece of plastic, but I get same thing on wood carvings. Direction is both ways (left - right). I tried to play with feeds and speeds, but no success.

How do I prevent this?

Ty.

What bit are you using? What are those feeds and speeds?

That looks like you have been cutting too slow, so you are rubbing it away and melting the plastic rather than cutting. However, it's nearly impossible to say more without knowing feeds n speeds and cutter details, also type of machine and spindle will help.

Bit was 2 flute ball endmill 3.175mm (1/8"), speed 1500 mm/min, started with 3000 rpm, up to 10000, did not make difference. Machine is DIY aluminum cnc router, spindle is chinese 2.2kW.

But why only on one side, and not other? Any ideas? And I get similar thing when carving hardwood with parallel passes (this is happening27554 even since I built machine).
