I am running mach3 on my cnc as my post processor , and my modeling software is uncancamv9 , now i have tried and tried to post the g code Direct from ucancam to mach3 .
I have suggested in the post processor box in ucanacam Mach3 to be my post processor but it makes no difference and it comes up with the text saying Save to Generalcnc.
Am at my wits end and i do not even know if it is Possible
I have VCARVE PRO TRAIL VERSION and have used it before as it is a good package but i can not afford the 600 pound license fee.
Any ideas out there
Pete

Pete, Mach3 isn't a post processor it's a motion control program. What you need is a Post processor file for Mach3 that works in uncam and processes the file in a format Mach3 can use.

When you select Mach3 in the post processor box all your doing is telling uncam to create a G-code file in Mach3 format using the mach3 post processor. It will save this somewhere on your HD (probably a folder called "GeneralCnc" )then you load that into mach3.
