Hi

Looking for a working machine, triac or vmc300 size or similar. Need 300mm on the table ideally.

Can also consider a larger machine. 3 phase isn't an issue but single would be nice.

Hi Franky,

Slightly larger than you want and not ready for sale yet but if I ever get back into work then hopefully in not too distant future I'll have a Fadal 15 VMC for sale. It's very tidy linear rail machine which hasn't had a hard life, only cut brass most of it's life. (Been in storage for last 5yrs before I bought it)

It will be fully retro fitted with a modern industrial controller and AC brushless Servos. It's got 16 tool ATC (carousel type) 7.5Kw BT40 7500Rpm spindle, Travels are X500 Y400 Z400. There is a 4th axis that goes with it but that won't be part of the retrofit and sale as it's not a simple affair to incorporate it into the system and will add a lot of work to the retro fit . So will be sold separately, probably to someone with an original Fadal Controller. (Unless someone shows interest and makes it worth the work before the retro fit starts then I might consider fitting it.)

If this interests you and your not in rush get in touch.

See it here in all it's stripped down glory and my thoughts on how I'm going to do it and why I'm doing it.

What's your budget?
I have a Warco VMC that sounds perfect though it needs converting to CNC. Depending what accuracy you want the cheapest I've seen to convert it is £350 odd. But it depends what specification you would want and the budget you have to get there.

The VMC is a solid built unit and looks an easy conversion. I'd even be happy to help convert it if you liked. Or even do the complete conversion for you.

It's based Lincoln UK.

Travel is about 400, 180 and 300 XYZ.

thanks for the offer but i'm after something a little 'better' than a warco. Leaning towards a particular vmc on here.
