Hi folks
I originally came to this forum in 2011 and my project has been on the shelf until recently. Looks like I never got around to introducing at that time so doing so now .
I have now (due to lockdown ) managed to advance the project a bit but as a total novice have struggled somewhat with the software so hoping some of you can help me along.
My project is based upon my Deckel FP1 http://www.lathes.co.uk/deckel/page2.html Which is not really a good machine to "convert"
I have planted an X Y table upon it which is driven by steppers and ballscrews rather than break into the machines own drives.
I have it running on Mach 3 .

It is the limitations of mach 3 which I seem to need some help with . Please go easy on me

Hi Andy and thanks for the welcome .
Have a thread running here http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/13718-Converion-based-upon-my-old-Deckel-Mill Pardon the typo, I actually can spell conversion but occasionally my fingers go faster than my brain
