View Full Version : Hello. I have used CNC USB MK1 steppdriver with win 7 operation software

I have saved calibrate settings with x,y,z step/unit.. I have now uppdate my windows to version 10
I find that my saved calibrated setting doesnt work.
What shall i do.Shall i simple calibrate axels again,or is there another explanation.

Why did you update?
If it isn't broke don't fix it.
I hate windows 10 with a passion.

You'll have to try setting it all up again. If it works, then great. If it don't, then go back to win7.

Surely you mean CNC USB motion controller not stepper driver.? they are very different things.
However in both cases just changing operating systems shouldn't alter any settings and with both operating systems you would use the same Steps per setting as these have nothing to do with the OS.
If it's not working the easiest thing to do is just start again but your question is a little light on explaining exactly what is not working.? Does it work but doesn't move correct distance etc or does it not work at all or some does it do some other weird and wonderful thing.?

If not at all then it's very likely it may not work with win10 or you need updated software or plugins to work with win10 and it's nothing to do with your settings being wrong.?

I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess this is a Planet CNC board.

And being MK1, I wonder if it's genuine..
