Hi, can anyone help me out with the setting for the VFD YL620-A2.2KW 220V and 2.2KW water cooled spindle?

I bought my spindle and VFD 5 years ago and never used them, however I've now fitted them on a CNC router and the VFD failed so trying to add the VFD YL620-A2.2KW 220V (Amazon) but don't want to damage the spindle.

I have done a factory reset P0.13 =10

Is there some standard starting setting?

If I'm wasting my time with the VFD please tell me, as I'll send back but obviously want to get it going.

many thanks

Allan

The one you have will work. But I am not familiar with this it.

The one that I would use (if you could send it back) would be the tried and tested :-

some of the important settings is the motor number of motor poles I think it is 2 if you have the Chinese 2.2kw spindle

and the input voltage & current. Also the max frequency 400Hz so the the spindle will run at 24K

Have a look here... https://en.industryarena.com/forum/huanyang-chinese-vfd-settings-manual-here--117782-33.html, reply 655.

Don't know this VFD at all, so can't advise further other than Google is your friend.

Clive's advice above about getting motor poles/voltage is perfectly sound. You'll hate me for saying this but I wouldn't have recommended resetting any parameter without first going through the lot and recording the delivered pre-sets.

I've just found this sheet that is to the VFD I have, I've set as listed but not sure about the middle & low frequency & voltage settings, they don't look right to me, I'll attach a copy

thanks

I've seen a post with these setting?

P00.00 – 50Hz
P00.04 VF highest output frequency – 400Hz
P00.05 VF maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz
P00.06 VF highest output voltage – 100%
P00.07 VF middle frequency – 200Hz
P00.08 VF middle voltage – 50%
P00.09 VF minimum frequency - 120Hz
P00.10 VF minimum voltage – 30%

but the manual say's

P00.00 – 50Hz
P00.04 VF highest output frequency – 400Hz
P00.05 VF maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz
P00.06 VF highest output voltage – 100%
P00.07 VF middle frequency – 40Hz
P00.08 VF middle voltage – 10%
P00.09 VF minimum frequency - 4.0Hz
P00.10 VF minimum voltage – 1%

confusing!

I wouldn't worry about the differences as none will stop it from working or damage it.

Hi JAZZCNC

do you think the top settings seem more reasonable
?
