Hi all

Looking at building my own PCB pin-cutting machine. They look pretty simple so I don't fancy paying £4000 for something I could build for under £1000.

Here is a video of what they do

This is the machine

It uses what looks to be a custom-design cutting tool to remove the leads from through-hole components.

I have seen a few designs for the handheld pendant.

Does anyone know what they are?
I suspect they are one of those generic controllers such as a DM500 (https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DmhUSuZ) but with custom firmware.

Here is the manual from one of the manufacturers.

You basically tell it to go to certain XY cords, tell it how many PCBs you have in the panel, tell it where the panels are and then it will run the job.
Can also import position data.
