Hi, I have a router with a motor on each side on the y axis. How do I wire these to work together. I am connecting to a cs-labs motion controller.
Hello,
There is 2 ways:
1) You can use Y and A axis output and set them as "slave" in Mach3 to "link" the both axis; in this case, of course both axis must have the same settings (steps/per, accel, velocity, etc) This method allow you to use the "squaring" features of Mach3 (double homing)
2) You can use only the Y axis output to drive the 2 drivers ; in this case you save an output for another usage and you limit the risks of one motor losing steps and shifting in relation to the other. Off course in this case the "squaring" can't be used.

The CS Lab motion controler can also have its own settings ; this is card that I don't know very well.
