All,
I've just joined as I'm selling my Tormach - see ad in the for sale section!
I've been happily hobby CNC milling for the past few years, having imported a Tormach as it was just about the only real offering in the hobby CNC space as a complete package at the time.
I constructed a 7 1/4 inch gauge Hunslet Locomotive, search on youtube for jbanfie to see it running. It took 2 years to build and then after some time off, the tender took 3 months!
I can heartily recommend the Tormach, a breeze to operate, Mach 3 is superb as is SprutCAM, I tend to draw in Solidworks which was expense but obviously brilliant.
