Hi Guys,
Attached is skp and stl files in the attached zip for two brackets I could do with, to help sturdy up my gantry where it mounts to the bearing blocks.
The pic below should be fairly self-explanatory but for clarity:
The horizontal holes are 6mm with a suitable counterbore for a machine head M6 bolt
The vertical holes in the middle section are 6mm - no counterbore required here
The vertical holes in the outer section are 5mm with a suitable counterbore down to 15mm (can be higher if needed as I can just use longer bolts)
The bearing blocks are the standard 45x45mm SUU16 type for supported rails, which are bolted to each end of the block and the 60x60mm extrusion for the gantry sits in the middle with 4bolts in the bottom and 2 bolts on each side which should help prevent "twisting" of the gantry.
I haven't put any fitting tolerance into the design, but please add if you think it is needed (I can use abrasives to do that if not).
See my build log for pics of the machine I am building if context is needed.
Paypal preferred for payment and I don't have aluminium of this size (yet), so quote accordingly.
Cheers
Chris
