The wire colours aren't standardised between manufacturers, so it would help to know which motor you're referring to. If it's this one (http://cnc4you.co.uk/resources/60BYGH301B.PDF) then you are correct.
One simple way to check is if the motor gets harder to turn when you've connected the wires, then the wiring is definitely wrong.
