Hi guys,
I had a go at making a cyclone dust extractor.
I used;
1 Old broken hoover I had in the attic. Dump nothing!
1 Traffic cone I acquired one drunken night way back..!
2 Plasterer's buckets I bought for this job - £14.
2 Flangey plastic screw-on fixture thingys from the same shop - £3.
2 Plastic spring-clamps.
1 Shampoo bottle.
Lots of Duct tape.
It works a treat.
I managed to bodge all of the hoover attachment bits out sawing up of the old hoover
tube bits. I even got the the angled bit off it!
The best bit is how the traffic cone just sticks to the bucket! I just jammed it up
in there and it worked! If it ain't broke...!
I am very happy with how it works. It gets 90% of the chips and dust. I have filled
the bottom bucket 3 or 4 times now and the hoover bag isn't even half filled!
I'm open to suggestions for improvements!
Thanks guys,
Kevin.
