my new denford microrouter has a porter cable 86902 23k spindle in it.

it looks like portable cable make about 3 different size collets for it, which is rubbish.

the nut thread is 1.25mm, when I put my callipers across the thread I get 24.8mm. so im guessing its a 25x1.25mm thread.

been struggling to find information on ER collect nuts, anyone know if one would fit?

According to this page http://www.rbh-tools.com/er-collet-chucks/er11.html the table at bottom shows no 1.25mm pitch threads so doubtfull.

thanks but its not a direct replacement I need

looking at the measurement's of an er20 collet I need a nut with a longer thread, or shorter collets

Sounds to me like you need to find someone with a lathe who enjoys a challenge but balancing final item would probably be hardest part with 23k spindle.

No, they won't fit.

You can get a wide range from here:
