Converting .eps file for cam use

Early learning stages :-
I have tried to convert an eps file to run on my cam programme, but results are poor. Could anyone offer their method of conversion to assist please. Have several graphics programmes, but I am a bit inexperienced with their application.
Running either F360 or Estlecam (which has it`s own carve converter)

What format are you trying to convert it to ? I use Rhino3D that can open eps files although I've never used that format before.
