Dropped my keyboard now suddenly Mach3 running 10% slower than DRO/F:code specifies
As title says. I dropped keyboard suddenly Mach3 is running slower than the DRO specifies.
Regardless of what feedrate is set in the G code the machine runs 10% slower.
It was perfect until now. Even the rapids are now slower than they were when running the same program as before.
So far everything is still at 100% so why?
Is there a button that could have been pressed that causes this condition?

A screenshot of Program Run screen would be useful, what is your Feed Rate Override (FRO) percentage set to?
Re: Dropped my keyboard now suddenly Mach3 running 10% slower than DRO/F:code specifi
FRO was set at 100% as it always has been.
I did adjust it to 110% as a test and it put the feedrate up to just over the F:code setting in the program.
When I finished running and shut it all down I didn't 'fixture save' this time round so I'm hoping it will go back to normal on a reboot.
Not running it today so can't get a screenshot.
On another note I've had a hit and miss bumping noise on the steppers each time I've started up and ran it. Every full rotation whilst running programs you get bump, bump, bump, etc.
I think I've solved it (or found why). When XP starts up sometimes it gets an error message saying 'MARK_FUN, Load NT driver'.
Realized that if the error doesn't appear they bump every rotation, if the error appears they run as smooth as silk. Only took me a year to figure that one out :rolleyes:
Might fresh re-install the PC.

It fixed itself when I booted it all up today. YAY!
Not fixture saving after the last run may have turned out to be a good idea.
At least I've figured out about the 'MARK_FUN' error. First boot it didn't come up and the steppers bumped every full rotation. Booted it again until the error appeared and it ran smooth.
Definitely have slight issues with the PC.
