Hi Frank
I just got a water cooled spindle from Jianken (http://www.jian-ken.com/) Looks to be very well made and the company is very good to deal with. I bought it after seeing this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWNeW-lH9RA
I haven't tried it yet but it does look good and they also do extra high speed versions.
Cheers

+1 for Jian-Ken
Not sure but I think they may have some product on Aliexpress?? otherwise email [email protected]
Hi Andrew,
I saw that video as I am also searching for a good and not so expensive ATC spindle. I think I have to decide between Jianken and Rattm motor (here's a video). It would be interesting to compare them but who's gonna buy them both.
Can you tell us which model did you bought, the price and how you ordered? I couldn't find them on aliexpress or ebay..
Hi Voicecoil
Alibaba is where I got mine from. A Miss Wafer is the contact person I had. Friendly and helpful which makes a change these days.

Ok thanks
And is the quality ok ?
I am looking for a spindle but there a so many to buy.
some say runout less than 0.05,0.02 amd even 0.005 and wenn you ask about the seller who claims 0.005 ,they answer is wenn you want this precision you have to grind it yourself to get the 0.005 precision ?

Hi Frank
I'll check out the runout this evening. I think with most of the newer chinese spindles that are not the cheapest the runout is pretty low. I'm using some very fine 0.5mm end mills so this is important. Good quality collets are probably important too. It's no good having a spindle with no runout and a collet that is egg shaped !! I get the feeling that it's the weakest link in the chain that is important in cnc accuracy.
