Hi,
I'm working on a project that involved moving a camera on a platform through space using 2 servo motors attached to a drum winch.
As you can see from the image below I'm trying to workout what control software is available to setup safe area / limits for the camera to move in
I also need to be able to program moves for it to move from say point A to B over a certain time period shown in the image here:

Look at a Dynomotion KFlop.
You can program it so it handles all the kinematics involved, so all you need to send are basic coordinates, and the software handles converting the basic coordinates to the required non-linear movement.
